This business was a completely new start-up with a unique vision & idea for a community based photography business, but with no name and no brand identity. The client did want to pitch themselves very differently from the local & typical ‘camera clubs’ to attract a more diverse & younger audience, through offering vibrant photography workshops, studio rental & gallery space. Whilst the client knew their audience – they didnt know how to attract them as customers.
After understanding the clients key needs & aims through our briefing process & meetings, we gained key insights into the target audience and competition through market research. The initial task was to forumulate an effective name for this business which was photography related, but not too obvious whilst also being fresh & a little bit different.
Once a name was agreed we delved into the design concepting & visualisation stages and through various client workshops eventually developed an identity which stood out to appeal to the target audience.
RAW35 BRAND IDENTITY
The brand identity we developed for RAW35 was very distinct and recogniseable. The logo itself consists of 2 core primary clours of yellow & black. This effective colour combination helps the variety of brand applications really grab attention. To date for RAW35 we have produced:
