Challenge
Catcote Academy, a school in North-East England, wanted to refresh their brand identity and have a more consistent application of their brand / logo throughout the school, both in printed materials, digital channels and within the school building.
They wanted something professional, vibrant and inspiring to pupils, staff and parents that communicated and re-inforced their values and instilled a sense of pride. Because part of the school building was newly built – they also wanted something on the walls, but weren’t sure what.
SOLUTION
We used our brand identity expertise in the educational sector to evolve a perfectly suited look & feel for Catcote Academy that would work well in print and other digital channels.
Once a comprehensive brand guidelines document was produced which took the school’s idenity to a whole new level, we then implemented this across print & digital items, including stationery, powerpoint & word doc templates, pocket folders, prospectuses and email signatures.
Perhaps most impactfully, our newly created identity for the school was demonstrated on wall graphics throughout the school, which re-inforced school values and served to inspire pupils & staff.
All in all Reactive’s expertise across branding, design, digital and print came in very useful as a “one-stop shop” for this school client who weer extremeley satisfied with our services and we continue to produce work for this client.
SCHOOL WALL GRAPHICS
A big part of the work we carried out for Catcote Academy was a variety of wall graphics to be placed on selected walls around the school. These took the form of either large vinyl decals or custom wallpaper. The primary purpose of these was to bring a sense of identity to the full school, promote values and a sense of belonging. the feedback from staff and pupils was very positive and contributed to a better school environment.
