Challenge
A Star Solutions provides award-winning school attendance software and support to schools across the UK.
They felt their existing website looked dated and somewhat childlike, and it didn’t effectively communicate the quality of their cutting-edge software or the support services they offer.
When they approached Reactive, they also had an upcoming event to attend. They needed their website refreshed quickly, along with complementary exhibition stands and leaflets to support their presence at the event.

Our first step was to understand their competitors, their target audience, and the key decision-makers who would ultimately choose this software. From there, we created a clear content structure designed to communicate their USPs effectively, particularly their unique combination of both software and support.
In terms of look, feel, and user experience, we developed a more polished and modern approach to showcase their cutting-edge technology — a significant move away from the previous cartoon-style website. We used contemporary design & web development techniques, including video, transitions and interactive elements, to better communicate the technological strengths of their platform.
Testimonials and case studies helped reinforce the reasons to choose A Star Solutions, while blog posts and podcasts were included to support organic SEO and increase exposure across social media platforms.
